In my books I explain how overcoming any obstacle and achieving anything you want to accomplish is possible by changing your mind – your thinking. That applies to pretty much everything you want or need to do. The only obstacle to achieving anything is yourself. As long as you think you can’t, you won’t. I have proved that in so many ways, time and time again, as I have overcome one obstacle after another. Whether it was financial or health related, no matter what life throws at me, I continue to rise above it and create something better. This post is about my latest victory and how easy it can be for anyone.
Whenever I share my story of healing and weight loss with anyone their immediate reaction is “that’s great, but I could never give up meat and cheese”. That statement just shows a total lack of understanding of food as well as our unwillingness as a people to accept the truth and acknowledge that what we have been taught since birth is wrong. We have been lied to by the meat and dairy industries, as well as all government sponsored health organizations, in support of the meat and dairy lobby. The basic, simple truth that everyone needs to know and understand is that animals are not food! It is so easy to go vegan once you stop thinking of animals as food. Food grows from the ground. It was not artificially conceived and born to be killed. The flesh and bodily secretions of animals is NOT FOOD! How hard is that to comprehend? Put two and two together. People all say “I love animals” while they are eating them right in front of you. The word “meat” was invented by big money interests to create the illusion that we are not eating other living, breathing, caring beings. We have been brainwashed into cognitive dissonance, to not recognize that the items we are eating are not food, they are animals. All the flavor, texture, and taste you crave can be achieved with plant based options. The flesh and secretions of animals only tastes the way it does because of the seasonings and cooking processes.
Do your research. I don’t expect you to believe me, even though I have gone from a wheelchair and on oxygen, to dancing on the beach, losing 40 pounds, reducing my cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar to normal, and having more energy than I can ever remember having, in just a few short months, just by discontinuing the eating of animal flesh and secretions. There are plenty of scientific studies, backed by some of the most renown universities and medical establishments in the world, to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that eating animals and their secretions is unhealthy and is killing us and the planet. Meat and dairy are the primary contributing factors to heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cancer.
Here are some well known studies, not funded by meat and dairy industries, or by animal rights groups. Do your research and think for yourself. Don’t believe the lies you have been told all your life by the meat and dairy interests. This is just a few links. Do your own research and you will see that eating animal products promotes the leading causes of death in the world and that by eating plant based you can prevent or cure those diseases. When reading articles be sure you check out who backed, or funded, the research. If the article is pro-meat or pro-dairy you will find it was funded by industry giants that are only concerned about their bottom line, not your health.
